That update contains a fix for the touch screen issue we found in our tablet review.
Sony's tablet struggled to register a tap when the angle of the tablet as more than 90o, so less than inverted. Occasional flat tap would go missing too but that's been eradicated, Yay.
Glad Sony have addressed this only problem and fault we found. Our tablet Z2 is running great now.
We understand that the update is being rolled out by region so if you haven't had it yet ... Don't fret. The new firmware weighs about 121MB and is available both over-the-air and via the Sony PC Companion Suite. The update is available in the Scandinavian region, Germany and Russia among other countries.
