Yes, another Kickstarter item gets covered here at IHAG, and one that's caught our eye this week is Pet Cube.
Pet Cube is a home gadget that allows you to watch, talk and play with your pet using your smartphone. OK yes it sounds weird, and probably means you have a pet as a best friend - again weird. However that doesn't mean the love for your pet isn't real.
Pet Cube can keep them engaged when you are not around to do so, how can a cube do this via a phone ?!
Inside Pet Cube there is a HD Wide angle camera, a microphone and speakers and by no means least a laser pen on a movable arm. A motion sensor will be included too. WiFi connection is required and that's on board too.
You can call your pet when they are out of range using the app on your smartphone, via the Pet Cube and play laser pen games via the same app too, if you are a complete weirdo you can have an audio conference with your animal too - we suspect this is limited to "roll over" and suggest the Pet in questions is "a pretty boy / girl" - but feel free to shout at your phone in a hotel room from miles away with your own command.
You can even network the cube(s) up and play from any room in your home too. We think its a great idea, and since we have pets we leave at home for short periods, this will be a great way of checking in and making sure they are good.Want to know more about Pet Cube !?
