Finally we have good news, a locational tag on Kickstarter has managed to gain traction. GearTag didn't make it with just 15k behind its goal, it would seem that this offering has caught the imagination.
Chipolo is a Bluetooth enabled item finder and thermometer for your iPhone or Android that helps you locate your belongings, the project is just under two weeks away from completion. We would suggest you lump on, for us its spot on at solving our absent mindedness.
It always remembers your last location, so you don't have to. Chipolo has a range of about 60 meters (200 feet),and it remembers its last location - even when out of range. Locating it is really easy - just by using the map in the app which works on both Android and Apple phones.
Just attach it to keys, pets, children or bags (anything that has value to you)....
